Abstract:
Exceptional or overlapping verses mean the existence of some civil verses in the surahs of Mecca and vice versa. This claim is recent and has not been reflected in the works of the first century, over time the range of exceptions has expanded and has met with pros and cons. Gradually, in the sources of Quranic sciences and commentary, 197 civil verses are mentioned in Surahs of Mecca and 26 civil verses are mentioned in Surah Madani. Some have fundamentally rejected the claim of an exception, while others have rejected some cases and confirmed or remained silent about others; The most criticism is about the existence of Maki verses in civil surahs. Taking interpretations and criticizing the arguments of the claimants of exception, has shown the confusion between spatial and temporal criteria in the definition of Makki and civil and unquestioning acceptance of narrations and incorrect interpretation of the verse has formed an exception in the verses and the revelation of these verses is integrated with its previous and subsequent verses. And it was in the civil era, and this claim is fundamentally false.
