One of the tribes that formed the Qara Qoyunlu Union was Alpawut Tribe that settled in Western Iran after the rise of the Seljukites and the Turkmen movements to the west. Livestock plays an important role in the establishment of Qara Qoyunlu in western Iran. Alpawut, with the fall of Qara Qoyunlu, was, like many other united states, first of all, to the continuously active peoples in that government. With the reign of the Safavid Ile Alpawut joined the Qizilbash group. This research has been conducted with a descriptive approach and a library around the question of what role of Alpawut played a role in the evolution of the Qara Qoyunlu and Safavid era, and how did they join Qizilbash? The research findings indicate that Alpawut played a significant role in the developments of the Qara Qoyunlu period, so that their role in establishing the Qaraqoyunlu government in western Iran cannot be neglected. Alpawut's rulers in Aq Qoyunlu era also came to the highest levels of government, and Alpawut was still important. Alpawuts, who joined the Safavid after the fall of Aq Qoyunlu, unlike the majority of the Qilbash migrants from Anatolia, were from the tribes living in Iran, who became Qizilbashi servants.
