چکیده:
مقدمه: دسترسی به اطلاعات معتبر مربوط به سلامت و همچنین ارزیابی و استفاده بهینه از آنها در راستای تامین سلامت خود و اطرافیان از اهمیت ویژهای برخودار است. مهارتها و توانمندیهای متفاوتی میتوانند بر این مسئله تاثیرگذار باشند که از آن جمله مهارتهای سواد اطلاعاتی است. ازاینرو، پژوهش حاضر، رابطه بین سواد اطلاعاتی و سواد سلامت را میان کارکنان مرکز منطقهای اطلاعرسانی علوم و فناوری بررسی میکند.
روش: روش پژوهش حاضر، توصیفی پیمایشی از نوع همبستگی و ابزار گردآوری دادهها پرسشنامه است. جامعه آماری پژوهش کلیه کارکنان مرکز منطقهای اطلاعرسانی علوم و فناوری است (۱۰۳ نفر) که به روش نمونهگیری تصادفی ساده و با استفاده از جدول کرجسی و مورگان ۸۰ نفر از آنها بهعنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. برای تجزیه و تحلیل دادهها نیز از آزمون t تک متغیره و همبستگی پیرسون استفاده شد.
یافتهها: نتایج بهدستآمده نشان داد که میزان مهارتهای سواد اطلاعاتی و همچنین سواد سلامت افراد تحت بررسی از حد متوسط بالاتر است. بین مهارتهای سواد اطلاعاتی با سواد سلامت کارکنان رابطه معناداری وجود دارد.
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافتههای پژوهش، بهنظر میرسد، فراگیری مهارتهای سواد اطلاعاتی برای افزایش سواد سلامت و در نتیجه بهدستآوردن اطلاعات معتبر در زمینه مسائل بهداشتی و سلامت افراد و همچنین ارزیابی، تفسیر و استفاده درست از این اطلاعات، بسیار ضروری بهنظر میرسد. لذا ارائه آموزش های مناسب در این زمینه، ضرورتی انکارناپذیر است.
INTRODUCTION: The main objective of the study was to investigate the relationship between information literacy skills and health literacy skills of staff working in the Regional Information Center for Science and Technology.
METHODOLOGY: A descriptive- correlation survey method has been used in this study. For data collection, two questionnaires have been used. The population of the study included all 103 staff of the Regional Information Center for Science and Technology, Shiraz, Iran. Based on the simple random sampling method and with use of Krejcie and Morgan table, 80 employees were selected as the study sample. For data analysis and hypotheses testing, one-sample T test and Pearson correlation test have been used with the help of SPSS 22.
FINDINGS: Results showed that the rate of staff's information literacy skills and health literacy skills has been higher than average. Also, there is a significantly positive relationship between staff's information literacy skills and their health literacy skills.
CONCLUSIONS: According to the research findings, it seems that to increase health literacy and obtain reliable information on health issues as well as the evaluation, interpretation and use of this information, it is necessary to increase information literacy skills. Therefore, providing suitable training courses in this area is inevitable.
