The exaggeration and allegation in the Assyrian royal
annuals is regarded as one of the important and sensitive subject
in the study and analysis an important aspect in the political
history of Assyria.
At the beginning , it aims at the attestation the characteristic
of clear exaggeration appearing in the Assyrian royal writings ,
and to correct the distorted picture reflected by the books of the
old testament (Torah), then through writings conducted by a
number of foreign researchers about the political history of
Assyria via presentation of the related Assyrian textual evidences
, also to diagnose the element of exaggeration and allegation of
the one-text , their analyzing and comparing with the repeated
copies and the text or through studying the implications of one of
the texts dating to earlier periods, as well as analyzing the actual
dimensions and reasons of the exaggeration and allegation
phenomenon appearing in these annuals, and to prove that these
texts, especially ones I have dealt with elaborately about the
campaigns of the Assyrian armies , the carvings and scenes
reflected by the Assyrian carvings about those campaigns which
included killing and torture actions in the courses of the enemies,
often , they were nothing but for the purpose of propaganda for
boasting and pride with the strength intensity , and arousing the
feelings of fear and frightening in the spirits of the enemies and
people living nearby
