شكلت الكتابات الغريية التي تناولت تاريخ الجزإئر خلال التواجد العثماني موضوع اهتمام الكثير من الباحثين وفي مقدمتهم
المؤرخين» كما أن هذا العمل قد يساهم في إضافة لبنة للدراسات والاعمال التي تدخل في سياق هذا الموضوع.
يتميز تاريخ الجزائر الحديث من خلال فترة التواجد العثماني 1815م -1830م بتنوع الكتابات الغربية وغزارتها ومن
مختلف الجنسيات» الفرنسيةء الإسبانيةء الإنجليزيةء الإيطاليةء الألمانية وحتى الروسية والأمريكيةء وهنا يمكن لنا التساؤل عن سر
ودوافع تكثيف الدول الغربية لنشاطاتها الدعائية في الجزائر من خلال رجال الدين (الرهبان) والقناصل والرحالة والمغامرين
والجواسيس والعسكريين والتجار والأسرىء حيث أقام هؤلاء بين أحضان المجتمع الجزائري خلال هذه الفترةء وكذا لمعرفة آليات
ممارسة نشاطاتهم› وكتابة انطباعاتهم وشهادتهم ومذكراتهم وتقاريرهم› وتقديمهم لأوصاف وتواريخ وقوائم وتحليلات وتفاصيل لا
نجدها إلا في هذه الكتابات التي توصف بضخمةء والتي تتجاوز طاقة الباحثء ومن أجل معرفة قيمتها العلمية التاريخية بالإضافة
إلى أنها من مصادر التوثيق لمعظم بحوث المؤرخين والتي لا يمكن لنا الاستغناء عنها.
The western writing which adapted the Algerian history during the reign of the Outhmanians,
raised a great attention among many researchers and writers. Hence, this work Came to add new
and noticeable studies.
- During the period of Outman’s leadership form 1515-1830 the Algerian history was
characterized with different Western writings from different nationalities, among then French,
Spanish, English, Italian, German, Russian. and American one.
For that reason one may wonder abort the enigmatic motives that pushed the Western
countries to strengthen their formative activities in Algeria throughout the religions men, piracy, the
adventures, the military men, the commercials and the spies. They lived in Algeria during that
period, in order to Know the ways of practices, the Algerian activities and to write their
impressions, their witnesses and their reports.
They also tried to present dates and analyses that can be found only in these great writings
which exceed the power of the researcher. Therefore, these writings have scientific and historical
values that make these writings as the sonnies of other great researches.
