چکیده:
سابقه و هدف: زخم پای دیابتی به عنوان یکی از مهمترین و شایعترین عوارض دیابت میباشد. خودمراقبتی علاوه بر کاهش بستری، میتواند از 85 درصد از مشکلات بیماران پیشگیری نماید. حمایت اجتماعی نیز به عنوان یک عامل روانی و محیطی بر خودمراقبتی بیماران موثر است. لذا این پژوهش با هدف بررسی ارتباط بین رفتارهای خودمراقبتی این بیماران و حمایت اجتماعی از آنها انجام شده است.
مواد و روشها: در این مطالعه توصیفی 130 بیمار مبتلا به پای دیابتی در یک دوره پنج ماهه به روش سرشماری از بیمارستان شهید مدرس ساوه انتخاب و وارد مطالعه شدند. اطلاعات از طریق پرسشنامههای جمعیتشناسی، نیازهای خودمراقبتی پیشگیری از پای دیابتی و حمایت اجتماعی واکس جمع آوری گردید. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه 16 و آزمونهای آماری اسپیرمن، تیمستقل و آنالیز واریانس استفاده شد.
یافتهها: در این مطالعه ارتباط معنیداری بین خودمراقبتی و حمایت اجتماعی مشاهده شد (P<0.05)، به این صورت که افراد با حمایت اجتماعی بالاتر خودمراقبتی بهتری داشتند. همچنین ارتباط معنیداری بین میزان تحصیلات و درآمد ماهیانه با رفتارهای خودمراقبتی و نیز بین میزان تحصیلات، میزان درآمد ماهیانه و وضعیت تاهل با حمایت اجتماعی افراد دیده شد (P<0.001).
نتیجهگیری: نتایج نشان داد که حمایت اجتماعی میتواند به عنوان یکی از فاکتورهای تاثیرگذار بر رفتارهای خودمراقبتی افراد باشد و با در نظر گرفتن آن در برنامههای آموزشی، درمانی و مراقبتی، میتوان با بهبود وضعیت خودمراقبتی، علاوه بر کاهش هزینههای اقتصادی، کیفیت زندگی بیماران را نیز بهبود بخشید.
Background and Objectives: Diabetic foot as one of the most common complications of
diabetes is involved in more than %25 of diabetic patients’ lives, and if not treated properly
can lead to amputation up to %20. The lack of self-care is the underlying cause of mortality,
morbidity and chronic complications of diabetes. Identification and rectifying of diabetic
foot care needs of patients can additionally reduce readmission; also, %85 of diabetic foot
problems can be prevented.
Materials and Methods: In this descriptive study, 130 patients with diabetic foot
from Shahid Modarres hospital were selected using census method. Data in forms of
demographic questionnaire, self-care requisites assessment tool for preventing diabetic
foot ulcer, and Social Support Behavior Scale were completed by patients and then were
collected. Data were analyzed by SPSS version 16.
Results: In this study, a significant relationship was found between self-care and social
support (P < 0.05). This means that people with better social support reported better selfcare
than those with weaker social support. A significant relationship in level of education
and monthly income with self-care was seen, as well as in level of education, monthly
income and marital status with social support (P < 0.05).
Conclusions: The results showed that social support can be considered as an effective
factor in individual self-care behaviors, and with regard to this factor in educational,
treatment and care programs of patients, can improve their self-care, in
