This study seeks to present a comparative study based on the two interpretations of al-Manar and al-Mizan around the subject of eradication tradition in Ummah Mohammadi (PBUH). Therefore, this paper tries to answer the question of whether the eradication tradition in the Ummah Mohammadi (PBUH) will be practiced. So after clarifying the theoretical foundations of the discussion and the relationship between eradication tradition and other divine traditions such as Imhal, prophets sending, and repentance have been discussed. <br />Subsequently, by categorizing the verses of eradication tradition, the interpretational ideas of al-Manar and al-Mizan have been compared and analyzed. This comparative study reveals a controversy in explaining the verses of the eradication tradition between Allameh Tabatabai and Rashid Reza. From the viewpoint of Allamah Tabatabai, in the Ummah of Mohammad, the practice of eradication tradition is possible, but in the standpoint of Rashid Reza and the other famous commentators, for some reasons, the practice of eradication tradition is not possible. In conclusion these two different explanations gain one result which says the eradication tradition in the Ummah Mohammadi will not be practiced.
