چکیده:
The Sabian ritual with Mandaeans, where the root of the word 'Manda'—derived from the Aramaic language meaning 'knowledge,' 'awareness,' and 'cognition'—is equivalent to the word Gnosis or Gnosis, meaning awareness and knowledge (the English equivalent is 'know'). Mandaeans are a very ancient religious and sectarian group in the lands of the Levant, Palestine, and Mesopotamia, who migrated to Mesopotamia and then to present-day Khuzestan due to Jewish persecution in Palestine after the death of John the Baptist (PBUH). This research addresses the issue using library information gathering methods and an analytical and descriptive approach. Due to the baptism ceremony, which is derived from the baptism of Jesus Christ (PBUH) by the Prophet John (PBUH), which is a sacred matter in Mandaean law, most of them settled alongside the rivers Tigris, Euphrates, Karun, Karkheh, and Dez in Khuzestan. The total population statistics of this people in Khuzestan (before the Islamic Revolution) were estimated to be between 60,000 and 70,000. However, according to 2015 statistics, due to economic and religious reasons, their numbers decreased to about 3,000, and most of them migrated to the countries of America, England, Australia, and Canada. Most of them are engaged in the professions of gold plating, silversmithing, and enameling, which have been passed down from generation to generation since ancient times. Khuzestan can be considered a meeting place for the gathering of divine religions, including the Mandaeans. The main areas of Mandaean concentration in Khuzestan are in the cities of Ahvaz, Abadan, Khorramshahr, and Susangerd due to the flow of the Karun, Karkheh, and Jarrahi rivers. Mandi is the place of worship for Mandaeans, and in the city of Ahvaz, there are three Mandis in Nezami Street, Khosravi, and Mazraeh village.

(Arabistani: 1387: 226) Since the time when Palestinian Jews were scattered to various parts of the world and the Sabians migrated to Iraq, a group of them settled in southwestern Iran along the banks of the Karun, Arvand, Karkheh, and Dez rivers.
Jews and Christians settled in Mecca, Najran, Medina, and Basra, all among the Arabs, on the coasts of the Persian Gulf and under the supervision of the Basani governments of Iran, especially the Sassanid language; however, a fourth religion existed known as the Sabians, whose initial settlement was around the Jordan River, Levant, and then they migrated to Iraq and Iran (Mohit Tabatabaei 1387: 27).
