Through resorting to the commands and recommendations contained in Nahj al-Balaghah, the present study seeks to specifically address preventive social strategies of embezzlement as a crime in order to reduce the incidence of this crime. In general, the results of the present study try to present the preventive teachings of criminologists according to the teachings of the valuable book of Nahj al-Balaghah in the field of embezzlement in a categorized and systematic way, so that the executors of the criminal justice system can be required to operationalize such teachings. The important question of the article is to what extent are the teachings of Nahj al-Balaghah consistent with preventive criminological approaches? This research has been done by theoretical and analytical method and with a functionalist approach, in the form of description and analysis of materials, and the systemic approach and the related concepts in relation to crime prevention has been used. The method of research is documentary analysis as a research method or data collection technique. The study ultimately suggests that the new teachings of preventive criminology are in line with the approaches and teachings of Nahj al-Ablagheh, and thus taking advantage of preventive solutions are proposed to those in charge of criminal policy

In Sermon 87 of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (AS), titled "Exhortation to the Companions," which serves to introduce the best servant of God and the model of the perfect human, after describing the qualities of individuals who have distanced themselves from whims and are constantly vigilant of themselves, fearing that any slips might occur, he proceeds to explain the worst types of humans, regarding whom it is stated in this sermon: «دامهایی از طنابهای غرور و گفتههای دروغین بر سر راه مردم افكنده، قرآن را بر امیال و خواستههای خود تطبیق میدهد و حق را به their desires interprets, makes people feel safe from great sins, and makes major crimes seem trivial; he claims to avoid committing doubtful matters, but he plunges into them; he says: I am far from innovations, yet he is drowned in them; his outward appearance is that of a human, but his heart is the heart of a predatory animal; he does not know the path of guidance to follow, nor does he know the path of error and falsehood to avoid, so he is a dead person among the living'.

Improving Professional Ethics One of the major reasons for committing embezzlement and financial corruption in governmental and private organizations and institutions is, generally, disregard for moral and religious values; therefore, to prevent financial corruption and strengthen the level of self-control in individuals, it seems necessary to highlight the role of moral values in crime prevention and to formulate behavioral rules; behavioral rules are a set of values and desirable methods of interacting with others in various social, professional, etc.
