The author's goal in this article is to propose the idea that although the mutual participation of social science with the pure literature of Islam towards the indigenization of sociology in Islamic society is a worthy endeavor, this effort may easily fall into hermeneuticism and transformation of religious thoughts. Since the importance of a scientific article lies in expressing a new idea so that the idea can then be developed, deepened, and matured through investigations and critiques to find a worthy place in scientific teachings, the critique of hermeneuticism in the interaction between religious teachings and social-human sciences is considered. Undoubtedly, the interdisciplinary trend of Islamic sociological thoughts regarding the behaviors, phenomena, and social and cultural issues of Muslims can occupy an effective scientific position in terms of reproducing concepts, propositions, cognitive paradigms, and research theories. However, the point to be examined and pathologically analyzed is that this interdisciplinary trend should not suffer from the plague of hermeneuticism in the process of utilizing the teachings and vitality of Islam. Because hermeneuticism, based on inference from the text of the Holy Quran and historical experiences, is a dangerous plague that reduces and inverts the scientific nature and truth-seeking essence of religious thought. What is addressed more in this article is what meaning and concept hermeneuticism has, and with what criteria and indicators it can be identified and examined more deeply, and how it may penetrate the content of sociological thoughts and religious thinking and transform and invert its scientific legitimacy.

Scientific-Promotional Quarterly of Islamic Sciences Third Year-Tenth Number-Summer 2008 TECHNICAL JOURNAL OF ISLAMIC SCIENCE THIRD YEAR/TENTH NUMBER/SUMMER 2008 The Paradigm of Interpretivism in the Interaction of Sociology with the Knowledge and Vitality of Islam Farhad Emam Jomeh* Abstract: The author's goal in this article is to propose the idea that although the mutual participation of social science with the pure literature of the religion of Islam towards the localization of sociology in Islamic society is a worthy effort; however, this endeavor may easily fall into interpretivism and transformation in religious thoughts.
Undoubtedly, the interdisciplinary trend of Islamic sociological thoughts regarding the behaviors, phenomena, and social and cultural issues of Muslim people can occupy an effective scientific position in terms of reproducing concepts, propositions, cognitive paradigms, and research theories.
What is primarily addressed in this article is what meaning and concept interpretivism holds, and with which criteria and indicators it can be identified and examined more deeply, and how it may penetrate the content of sociological thoughts and religious reflection, transforming and overturning its scientific legitimacy.
Consequently, the creation and promotion of interpretivism in religious thought, form, and discourse is sometimes a very harmful matter that, in addition to threatening the credibility and spiritual importance of healthy religion, may also lead to the misguidance and deception of the masses and the plundering of the cultural and economic resources of society.
It seems that considering the detailed criteria and indicators below, one can better reflect and research in this regard: 1- The dominance of individual desires over religious thought, according to verse 41 of Surah Al-Imran.
