As expressed in the works of mystics and seekers of the divine path, the word Tawakkul has a wide spectrum of instances that manifest themselves in various intellectual (philosophical), theological, mystical, exegetical, narrative, and ethical forms, forming a vast network of meanings. This network is very complex and is regulated by internal and external factors. Although the word 'Tawakkul' may be synonymous with Tafwid, they are different from a semantic aspect due to other systemic considerations. Just as 'Tawakkul' has various semantic aspects in the Quran, multiple meanings are also attributed to it in Nahj al-Balagha. If 'Tawakkul' is the center of gravity of the semantic system, Tafwid, which is semantically very close to 'Tawakkul', can be considered synonymous with it.
