This study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of online and face-to-face teaching in various dimensions of learning, including the understanding of instructional concepts. Investigations show that face-to-face education, through face-to-face interactions, immediate feedback, and multisensory engagement, usually creates deeper and more lasting learning. In contrast, online teaching, if properly designed and provided that students possess self-regulation skills and technological literacy, offers opportunities for learner-centered learning, repeated content review, and the use of multimedia resources. Individual characteristics such as motivation, learning style, and responsibility play an important role in the extent of benefit derived from both methods. Ultimately, the findings show that neither method has an absolute superiority on its own, and their effectiveness depends on conditions, instructional design, and the different needs of students. A smart combination of the advantages of both environments can lead to increased quality and sustainability of learning.
