The discussion of the meaningfulness of life in today's world, which is the era of technology and the prevalence of mechanistic thinking, is of double importance. Based on mechanism, the integrity of the concept of existence is denied. Among its consequences is modern atheism, according to which any belief in God as the ultimate end and the cause of all causes is invalid; and among the necessary consequences of atheism are the meaninglessness of life and the nihilism of existence. Theocentric thinking plays an important role in responding to the issue of the meaningfulness of life. Therefore, the question of this research is: based on the principles of Sadrian Transcendent Wisdom, how can the meaningfulness of life be explained and this concern addressed? In this article, first, we aim to show that meaninglessness and nihilism are rooted in modern atheism, according to which the existence of God is denied or doubted. Second, by relying on the foundations of Transcendent Wisdom, especially the theory of the gradated unity of existence, the reality of God's existence and the extensive levels of existence are proven in a gradated manner, and also the essential connection of humans and human life to God, who is the highest level of existence and pure existence, is explained. In this case, the meaninglessness of life will not be posited, because human life is a stage of the true levels of existence and, in light of substantial motion, is moving towards absolute perfection and pure existence.

This issue possesses greater clarity in Mulla Sadra's philosophy or Transcendent Wisdom, because the discussions of theology and ontology are completely intertwined, and proving the primacy of existence is equivalent to proving the existence of God. Among the foundations of Transcendent Wisdom is the theory of the gradated unity of existence, which can be proven in two ways: based on Mulla Sadra's approach to the existential relationship between cause and effect, and based on the unity of existence within the multiplicity of beings.
Therefore, the issue under discussion in the first stage is to show the roots of the meaninglessness of life and nihilism in modern Western philosophy; second, to explain how, based on the foundations of Transcendent Wisdom, especially with the proof of the theory of the gradated unity of existence based on the primacy of existence, prove the continuity of the existential truth of beings?
Whereas, contrary to the mechanistic attitude, Islamic philosophy and especially Transcendent Wisdom (al-Hikmah al-Muta'aliyah) have established the foundation of philosophical thought, "the conceptual sharing of existence," based on the unity and integrity of existence, and by noting that the attribution of existence to beings is gradational (tashkiki), it seeks to provide a general and comprehensive image of all components of the universe in such a way that nature is only a part of the system of beings and not all of them.
