The theory of conceptual metaphor is a new conceptual conception which was first introduced by Lakoff and Johnson. In this approach, metaphor is not only about appearance and aesthetics, but also about the concepts behind the words. In this perspective, the abstract concepts can be understood by using objective concepts. In this research, the conceptual metaphors of love in Khosrow and Shirin by Nezami were analyzed. Most works of Nezami that are in the field of rich literature have emotional themes that the poet describes in metaphorical terms.By examining the concepts of the domain of love that are based on the concept of metaphorical theory, eighteen mappings with the domain of love were categorized and analyzed in738cases.These mappings fall into two groups:the first group of metaphors that have a positive attitude toward love, such as light, religion, unity, and happiness. The second group of metaphors that have a negative approach to love, such as sadness, murder, illness, madness, and so on. Based on the results, Most mappings are subjectively subjective, and in some cases more tangible mental matters are used to express love the mapping "love is sad" with123cases and "love is deceit" with16cases,respectively, had the highest and lowest frequencies in Khosrow and Shirin respectively.
