Background & Purpose: Affordances are emerging as a provocative factor for more use of opportunities and cause to promote developmental changes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of environmental dynamics on selective attention and physical activity enjoyment of children.Methodology: The present study was a semi-experimental design with pre and posttest. The participants of this study was children 7-10 years old in Tabriz, which 30 subjects were selected through a purposive sampling method and allocated into two groups of active in nature school (outdoor) and in Badminton class (indoor). At first in the pretest, both groups completed the Boyardee test to measuring the selective attention and Physical Activity Enjoyment questionnaire. After the period of 24 sessions and each session 2 hours activity, in the mentioned manner, the post-test was done in both groups. Data were analyzed by two way mixed ANOVA with IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 software at significant level of 0.05.Results: Results showed that the activity in the nature school had a more positive effect rather than activity of the badminton class on selective attention and pleasure of physical activity, so that in the active group of nature school, 63% of selective attention changes and 92% of physical activity pleasure variations was related to the independent variables, while for the active group in the badminton, 35% of the attention changes and 31% of the physical activity pleasure variations related to them independent variables. Conclusion: According to the ecological theory, the different observed effects of cognitive and mental characteristics can be attributed to the environmental conditions. The natural environment is a rich setting of stimuli that has more impacts on growth. Therefore, it is better to provided more experiences in the natural environment during childhood.
