سرزمین ایران تجلیگاه تفکراتی عمیق است که گاه نمود بصری یافته است. فرّه، به عنوان یکی از اینتفکرات، نیرویی مافوق بشری با مفهوم دینی بوده که در دوره ساسانیان نمود تصویری یافتهاست. این پژوهش با هدف تحلیل منشا و شـاخصههای بصری نمادهای جانوری فرّه به سوالات این مطالعه پاسخ دادهاست: فرّه چه جایگاهی در نظامهنری ساسانی دارد؟ این تفکر در قالب چه جانورانی جلوهگر شدهاست؟ چه سنت خاصی در ترسیم ایننمادها جهت برقراری پیوند بصری وجود دارد؟ روشتحقیق در این مقاله توصیفی-تحلیلی است و شیوه جمعآوری اطلاعات کتابخانهای و میدانی است. مطابق نتیجه این پژوهش، فرّه بهعنوان عامل تحکیمبخش در قدرتشاهی بصورت سهجانور سیمرغ، عقاب و قوچ متجلی شدهاست. طبق مطالعات بصری صورتگرفته، این نمادها پیرو الگوی ترسیمی مشترکی هستند که آنها را میتوان از ویژگیهای مسلم فرّه دانست. بدینشرح، بال بهعنوان عنصراساسی در پیکر این جانوران، مزّین بودن اینعوامل به نقوشتزئینی و همچنین وقار شاهانهآنها، بیانگر پیوند معناییشان با مفهوم قدرت برتر است.
Iran is a manifestation of deep thoughts which sometimes appears in visual form. Farrah, as one of these thoughts, has been a superhuman force with religious concept which is visually represented in Sassanid artwork. This study with the aim of analyzing the origins and visual characteristics of Farrah’s beast motifs, has answered to the research questions: what place Farrah has in the Sassanid art? What kinds of beasts are manifested in this thought? What is the particular tradition in depicting the symbols for visual link? The research method is descriptive- analytical and data were collected from library sources and field studies. The results of this study are as follows: Farrah, as a factor in the consolidation of royal power, is represented in three beast symbols of the Simurgh, the eagle and the ram. According to visual studies, these symbols follow a common drawing pattern which can be considered as certain features of Farrah. According to this description, wings as essential elements on the body of those beasts, ornate decorative motifs of these factors, and also their royal dignity, represent their semantic link with the concept of power.
