One of the mystical themes is preceptor and devoted to him. In this study, which aimed to examine the old position and devotion to him in these novels, it was found that In both novels, the Mood characteristics and political and social situation of the time Including war, crime, death, suffering, sin and loneliness has led the characters in the story to turn to mysticism. The character of some characters of the two stories who, despite using the preceptor mystical teachings, have not reached spiritual excellence or act differently from each other; It says two things: The first is the change in the author's approach, influenced by social and political changes in the two fifties and sixties And another, her change of attitude towards surrender to the old. The author suggests that unconditional surrender to the preceptor is incompatible with the sentimental and skeptical spirit of modern man. The fact that manifests itself from the words as well as the behaviors of the characters in the story,
