Safety culture, as one of the essential components in work environments, plays an important role in reducing accidents and increasing the level of employee safety. On the other hand, an individual's personality traits can affect their attitude towards safety and the extent to which they accept safety principles. The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between safety culture and the personality traits of employees active in the Khoy Municipality Fire and Safety Services Organization. This research is of a correlational type, and data were collected through a standard questionnaire. The results showed that some dimensions of personality, including extraversion and responsibility, have a positive relationship with various dimensions of safety culture, while neuroticism has a negative impact on safety culture. The findings of this research highlight the importance of promoting safety culture and considering personality traits in the design of training and management programs. These results can serve as a basis for future decision-making aimed at improving the safety conditions of employees in operational organizations.
