خلاصة:
In the information age, efficient tools such as intelligence systems have emerged. These systems ensure organizational success by analyzing the information required by managers to formulate strategies and plans. Information obtained from internal environmental factors can play a significant role in this regard compared to external environmental factors. To this end, this research addresses the conceptualization of intelligence from the perspective of intra-organizational factors and, by presenting a new model, reveals the contribution of internal resources as key components of intelligence. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was designed and provided to organizations using business intelligence systems. Then, the model resulting from the research was tested using the structural equation modeling method. The research findings show that intra-organizational intelligence is measured through organizational process intelligence, organizational resource intelligence (financial, human, and physical resource intelligence), and information intelligence. The sample organizations in the study also have moderate intelligence in the field of internal intelligence, which requires managers' attention to this type of intelligence and its constituent dimensions, especially organizational process intelligence.
ملخص الجهاز:
Given previous research, most intelligence systems emphasize the collection and analysis of extra-organizational information resources [38, 29], but Qualconty (2005) in his research showed that intelligence products resulting from the organization's internal resources have a higher share in the success, profitability, and market share of businesses compared to external resources [12].
Each of these factors can affect the profitability and success of the organization in the market [12]; therefore, intra-organizational intelligence focuses on identifying, collecting, and analyzing information related to the organization's internal resources and provides this information to organizational managers for making appropriate decisions.
Given the research background, it can be stated that the internal environment of an organization includes organizational resources (human resources, financial resources, and physical resources) [33], information resources [2], business operations, financial processes, marketing, sales and production, structure, and organizational systems, which, through their specific activities, influence organizational performance [21] intra-organizational intelligence is a process of needs assessment, collection, and analysis of information from the internal resources of the organization, where this analyzed information is made available to organizational managers for making appropriate decisions.
The findings of this research showed that intra-organizational intelligence is a process that engages in needs assessment, collection, and analysis of relevant information regarding the resources of the organization's internal environment, and provides this analyzed information to the managers and employees of the organization for making appropriate decisions.
