This paper by explaining points of view of Shiite theologians on human، discusses the role of people in political theology and its implications. Our approach here is political theology and we have used rational and narrative method. This article will result that the basis of legitimacy of power، according to Shiite traditional theologians، is divine and people have no role in legitimizing Imams and his deputy’s government. But it does not reject the role of people in other aspects of government، and people participate in politics by preparing the preconditions of their government and its actualization. The political role of people in Shiite political theology is accepting the responsibilities dedicated to them by Imam and the political positions appointed by Imam. Also people have an important role of observation of political affairs.
