خلاصه ماشینی:
"این تصور پیش میآید که با همان گره معمول نزد نویسندگان مهاجر که در طرح همیشگی قصه خود دارند و اصلیترین مایه داستانهایشان،یعنی تضاد نسل اول و دوم،روبهرو هستیم.
اما در این قصه که خوشبختانه،میتوانیم آن را حتما متعلق به ادبیات کودک ایران به حساب بیاوریم،چرا این اتفاق نمیافتد؟و چرا داستان،در پایان،شکلی شهودی به خود میگیرد و مخاطب را به درکی بالاتر و بهتر درباره موضوعی که طرح کرده است،میرساند؟ اگر به آثار معمول نویسندگان مهاجر،از جهان سوم به جهان اول،نگاهی بیندازیم،مانند نویسندگان آفریقایی،چینی،ویتنامی و حتی ایرانی،این دغدغه (تضاد میان دو نسل از مهاجران)را به شکل کاملا عادی،یعنی به صورت درگیری و تنش میان مادر و فرزند(معمولا دختر)میبینیم.
اگر کودک قصه، در وجود خود برای پیوند نشانهها بایکدیگر،حتی اندکی تنش و اضطراب میداشت، آنوقت میدیدیم که نمودهای صلحطلبانه قصه،مثلا «قابلمه»،به «کارد آشپزخانه» تبدیل میشد و پدر که با چهرهای کودکانه و حالتی دوستانه به عبور حلزون نگاه میکند،ابزار باغبانیاش را نه به شکلی کودکانه پشتسر،بلکه به شکلی تهاجمی،روبهروی خود میگرفت و البته دیگر حلزونی هم در کار نمیبود."
