Due to the distinguished speaking features adapted with the natural constitution of the organs of
speech of “Touent” dialect speakers, their talking methods, and ways of speaking, I was motivated
to pay attention to this dialect, chose its vocal level, ruffles more precisely, as a subject of this article
as a contribution in maintaining one of the most important constituents of the existence of the
touenti human.
Dialects have always existed in all ages in the Arabic language, they have been very few in the
earliest centuries, and increased gradually as non-arabs mixed with arabs starting from the ABASI
era up to modern colonization of the arab countries.
There is only one standard language, but different sub-dialects existing in the arab world, they vary
from one place to another due to factors that have existed in one place without the other, and this
variation increases depending on the degree of closeness or distance from the standard language.
Historical and geographical factors have had the leading role in the formation of “touent” dialect
which is distinguished by some features, especially the phonological ones. Hence, I had to provide,
even if briefly, a historical overview of the region and clarification of its geographical framework.
