چکیده:
مقاله حاضر به بحث پیرامون «مفهوم زهد در اشعار ابوالعتاهیه و عطار نیشابوری» میپردازد. ابوالعتاهیه از برجستهترین شاعران منحصر به فرد عرب در زمینه زهد است، وی نقش مهمی در تکوین زهدیات فارسی دارد. در ادبیات فارسی نیز عطار نیشابوری از شاخصترین چهرههای زهد و عرفان است که در سراسر دیوان او مفهوم زهد موج میزند. این مقاله بر اساس شیوه توصیفی –تحلیلی قصد دارد تا پس از اشاره مختصری به زیست نامههای این دو شاعر علل گرایش به زهد و میزان تاثیر و تاثر احتمالی آنان را از یکدیگر مورد بررسی قرار داده و وجوه مشابهت ومغایرت مفاهیم و موضوعات زهدی این دو شاعر و نیز تقریب اندیشههای اسلامی و سبک و اسلوب این دو را مورد بررسی تطبیقی قرار دهد. تاثیر فرهنگ اسلامی به ویژه قرآن و حدیث هم در محتوا و هم در صور بلاغی زهدیات این دو شاعر نمود بارزی دارد. زهدیات ابوالعتاهیه حاوی درون مایههای دینی خاصی است که بر شعر زهد فارسی تاثیری شگرف داشته است. این درون مایههای دینی عمدتا ناظر به مرگ و ظلم و دگرگونی روزگار و رنجهای فردی و اجتماعی و دنیا طلبی هستند.
