The early stages of the conquest had numerous effects on the next era of Islamic government. This turned the attention of Muslims to conquests which, in turn, resulted in the books of conquests and public chronicles. Due to the proximity of time, Iran's plan of conquest played a significant role in books of the third-century historians such as the Ibn Khayyat, Al-Balādhurī, Abu Hanifa, and Ya'qubi. In these writings, there are many similar and different accounts of the first caliphate’s conquests. In this regard, the purpose of the current study is to examine the way of representing the accounts of Iran's conquests during the first caliphate in the light of the general cultural-political conditions, the rules of historiography in this century, and its relation with the personality traits of historians. The results of the present descriptive-analytical study show a similarity between Baladhuri and Khalifa relative to Dinevari and Yaqubi’s works in explaining the way of conquest, paths of the conquest, and homes of muslims in Sevad of Iraq. However, they differ from representing the performance of influential persons in the conquest. Among these Futuh al-Buldan is an exception. Futuh al-Buldan is a book designed by Abbasid Caliphate government’ request for addressing the problem. Its result provided a consistent description of the Abu Bakr’ conquests and implied response to many legal questions on Iraq’s tribute.
