This research is a qualitative study and, in terms of its purpose, examines the role of Imam Khomeini as a crisis manager during the war. The data collection method was documentary, library-based, and interview-based. In terms of time, it is historical and, in terms of statistics, descriptive and, in terms of variable control, non-experimental. Content and contextual validity were reviewed and approved by experts and knowledgeable professors. Because leaders play a fundamental role in managing crises and international wars, and Imam Khomeini, as a manager of international crises, always acted upon fulfilling divine duty and paying attention to commitments and international norms, while at the same time possessing firm and unwavering will towards principles and respect for a series of religious duties and value-oriented tasks, and enjoying appropriate behavior in the social environment and common norms, managed the imposed war against Iran, which was a consequence of the Islamic Revolution's crisis, in a desirable manner and exported it to the world during that period. Imam Khomeini's strategy of not fearing superpowers led to victories and the failure of enemies.
