چکیده:
The foundations, principles, goals, content, and methods of education have always been among the most important issues that have been considered in the field of educational sciences. There has been no consensus among scholars and great educators regarding these dimensions of education. Among Islamic thinkers, Ibn Sina, as a philosopher of the Eastern school, not only has direct views on these matters but also, it seems that by considering the various texts available from the thinker, one can reach implications that can be useful for researchers and enthusiasts. Hopefully, this research can open a new door for research and reflection on this valuable philosopher and educator.

Examining Ibn Sina's Viewpoint on Education (Foundations, Principles, Goals, Content, Method) Dr. Fatemeh Ziba Kalam Mofarreh Faculty Member, University of Tehran Samira Heydari PhD Student, University of Tehran Abstract Date of Receipt: 2023/08/22 - Date of Approval: 2023/08/29 The foundations, principles, goals, content, and methods of education have always been among the most important issues that have been considered in the field of educational sciences.
1 (Ali Reza/Rafiei, 4831, 131) From Ibn Sina's point of view, reason is like a part of this world that has been rationally designed, therefore he defends an education that nourishes reason in such a way that it understands the system of the world and the universal intellect that designed it.
3- Psychological Foundations: In his educational views, Ibn Sina always pays attention to individual differences among people in terms of talent, interest, rational powers, etc.
Today, too, in education and training, considering individual differences in terms of talent and interest of students is very important in education, so that experts in education and training have tried to design various tests and techniques to find these kinds of differences, although Ibn Sina expresses his inability to explain the causes and reasons for these interests and selections in students and believes that these matters are beyond the scope of human understanding and only God knows their secret.
However, given that students do not have the same talents, reaching such a stage is not equally achievable for all of them, and this is where Ibn Sina emphasizes the importance of paying attention to individual differences among students in education [refer to: Ziba Kalam Mofarrad, 9991, 86].
