چکیده:
The family has been in a process of change and evolution throughout history. Among the factors influencing these changes is the increasing participation of women in public spheres and their entry into the world of employment. With women leaving home and becoming employed, traditional principles of life were broken, and the power structure between women and men changed during family interactions. This article compares and examines the impact of women's employment on the relationship between women and men during family interactions between two groups of married employed and unemployed women. This research uses a survey method, a questionnaire tool, and a sample of over 384 employed and unemployed women residing in Ivanki City, Semnan Province, using a multi-stage cluster sampling method and quota sampling. The Mann-Whitney test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multivariate regression were used to test the hypothesis. The results show that the extent to which women and men have access to resources such as income and education can increase their authority in the family. Increased belief in gender ideology among women leads to increased male authority in the family. Also, women's participation in providing for family expenses can increase female authority in the family.

Family power structure, family interactions, women's employment, women's participation, gender ideology, empowerment of women, empowerment of men Introduction and Statement of the Problem Among all institutions and organizations and social institutions, the family has the most important and valuable roles, and individuals step into the realm of existence from the family (Sarukhani, 1991, 11).
So much so that women's participation in the field of political and social activities has increased significantly, and the structure of the family and patterns of family relationships (especially the interaction between husband and wife) have changed, and a transformation has occurred in people's attitudes towards the distribution of roles.
The results obtained from these studies indicate that women's entry into the field of work outside the home and competition with men in the field of work and employment have improved the power pyramid in the family in favor of women and increased their role in decision-making and the role of men in creating a fairer division of labor in doing housework.
(4) Test of Difference of Means of Power Structure in the Family Based on the Employment Status of Women (Refer to the image on the page) To obtain the overall variance of all independent variables on the dependent variable, standard multivariate regression was used, the results of which are shown in Table No. 5.
For every unit increase in the variable of women's participation in providing for the family expenses, the variable of power structure changes by 3 units.
