چکیده:
Over the past several decades, the relationship between economic development and gender inequality has been one of the most important topics in both policymaking and the social sciences. Non-governmental organizations and the United Nations have actively investigated the impact of economic policies on the status of women, and government organizations in most parts of the world have developed targeted programs to integrate gender issues into development plans, and these policies are often aimed at reducing inequality between men and women.

Non-governmental organizations and the United Nations have actively investigated the impact of economic policies on the status of women, and government organizations in most parts of the world have developed targeted programs to integrate gender issues into development plans, with these policies often aimed at reducing inequality between men and women.
This research mainly examines the cross-sectional relationship between economic growth and development variables on women's status; but time series studies account for a limited number of researches.
3-Research Method Given the ambiguous relationship between economic growth and gender inequality and women's position in various empirical studies, this research poses three main questions: A: Based on existing indicators in the provinces of Iran, does economic development have a significant effect on women's position?
C: In each case, if the above patterns are significant, which of the theoretical perspectives presented explains the relationship between economic growth, women's position, and gender inequality?
2 4- Model Used in the Research To evaluate the cross-sectional relationship between economic development and the status of women (gender inequality), two types of models have been used: a linear model and a quadratic model.
B- Cross-Sectional Patterns of Gender Inequality The linear and non-linear results of the models relating gender inequality IDG and our independent variables (logarithm of adjusted per capita GDP and its square, access to education and its square, access to life expectancy and its square, access to income and its square, and MEG) are summarized in Table (3).
