Reviewing the results of studies conducted over 50 years by researchers on urban bus drivers has shown that job stresses in this profession create a background for the emergence of physical, psychological, and behavioral problems in individuals and lead to a decrease and disruption in organizational performance.
Also, employees tend to have expectations from the organization as a system; therefore, organizational support is consistent with the extent to which employees feel that their employing organization is willing to fairly compensate their efforts, help in times of need (illness and work-related problems), create an interesting and exciting work environment, and provide adequate working conditions (Eisenberger, Huntington & Sowa, 1986; quoted in Azhdari, Jamshidian, Seyadat & Jalalinjad, 1392); therefore, providing these trainings by the organization has a very positive impact on employees' mindset regarding job stress, job, and the organization related to the job.
Discussion and Conclusion The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of training in psychosocial skills on the management of psychological and occupational stress in bus drivers.
