چکیده:
The deep and multi-layered semantic capabilities of the Holy Quran appear from the smallest units of the text, i.e. words or even letters, to larger units, including the overall structure of one or more SURAH. Different interpretations of the Qur'an, each in their own way, have tried to find these capabilities in each of the mentioned units and in connections and correspondences between them. The present study, considering the semantic correspondence between the Quranic verses (A'raf/12) and (A'raf/23), where the first one is Satan and the second one is Adam and Eve addressed to the Almighty God, it aims to analyze the level of attention of mystical interpretations to this correspondence, as one of the most key and pivotal situations in the interpretation of the story of the creation of Adam (PBUH). For this purpose, the sources of mystical texts from the 4th to the 10th century AH. A. have been investigated in order to find the cases in which the mentioned semantic correspondence is a means of presenting an interpreted idea. Finally, 9 interpretation ideas were found in 3 mystical texts, which based on this semantic correspondence, have expressed mystical teachings in the form of creating moral dualities of good and evil.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Investigating the interpretive capacities present in the semantic correspondence between verses 12 and 23 of Surah Al-A'raf based on three mystical texts (Sharh al-Ta'arruf by Mustamli Bukhari, Kashf al-Mahjub by Jallabi Hujwiri, and Kashf al-Asrar by Meybadi) Seyed Saeid Ahmadpour Moqaddam 1 Hosein Ali Ghobadi 2 3 Maryam Ghobadi Saeid Bozorg Bigdeli 4 1.
Given the semantic correspondence existing between the Quranic phrases "أنا خير منه" (Al-A'raf/12) and "ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا" (Al-A'raf/23), where the first phrase is spoken by Iblis and the second by Adam and Eve addressed to God Almighty, the present research explores the extent of attention paid by three mystical interpretive texts—Sharh al-Ta'arruf, Kashf al-Mahjub, and Kashf al-Asrar—to this correspondence, as one of the most key and pivotal interpretive positions of the story of the creation of Adam (AS).
In the table below, a summary of these interpretive ideas, mentioning their respective dualities, will be provided: Satan's action (blameworthy) Adam's (AS) action (desirable) Acceptance and confession of error Arguing and justifying error | Acceptability among people Acceptability before Almighty God | Self-conceit and self-centeredness Humility and insignificance of self Claiming Need Illusion of proximity Perceiving distance Thinking oneself obedient Thinking oneself a sinner Seeking honor Accepting error Talking to oneself Speaking the truth Veil of luminosity Veil of darkness 12 Biannual Journal of "Islamology and Quranic Studies in the Contemporary World" Iranian Association of Quranic Studies and Islamic Culture; Year 3, Number 2, Autumn and Winter 1403, Consecutive 6 References The Holy Quran: Translation by Mohammad Mahdi Fouladvand, Tehran, Payam-e Edalat, 2019.
