چکیده:
This research, using a quantitative approach and survey method, investigates the prioritization of primary school students' interests in the knowledge domains of social studies. Data was collected through pairwise comparison questionnaires, with information gathered from male students in grades 4 to 6 of primary school in Zone 4 of Karaj, Alborz province, using cluster sampling. The data was collected through 60 interviews and completion of related questionnaires, and after reaching theoretical saturation, the data was analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results indicated that history was the most favored subject among students, while economics attracted the least interest. Additionally, the findings suggest that schools have a more influential role than families in shaping students' interests. This study emphasizes the importance of the influence of both schools and families in motivating students to learn social studies and suggests that educational programs should be designed to strengthen cooperation between these two environments, increasing students' motivation and participation in learning the domains of social studies.
