چکیده:
Contemporary political thought in the Arab world is one of the attractive and controversial topics that has attracted the attention of Islamic thinkers. The different look that exists in the flow of Islamic rationalism in the Arab world towards the issues of the Islamic community and their heritage and their relationship with each other represents a kind of revisionism in traditional concepts and attitudes. Egypt, as one of the important and influential centers in Islamic thought, has always been the focus of attention. This center has been a platform for the emergence of innovative and modern thinkers - both with secular and religious approaches. Hassan Hanafi is one of the influential Egyptian thinkers who has dealt with the issues and difficulties of his contemporary society with philosophical thought and is trying to establish a connection between the problems facing Egyptian society and the cultural heritage, especially Islam, and to refer to the dense scope of heritage to solve problems. Both by referring to and revising the heritage, he connects the current Egyptian society to the past and history of Egypt. His neo-Mu'tazilite and rational approach, as well as the use of modern Western epistemology and methodology, became a model for later thinkers to continue his path. In this research, an attempt has been made to first refer to his intellectual origins with a brief look, and then, considering his intellectual project and some key concepts in his mind, to reflect on his thought. He also provides answers to the challenges of modernity and addresses the pathology of colonialism and Westernization in his society, and introduces concepts such as "Ilm al-Istighrab" and "Islam Mustanir".
خلاصه ماشینی:
From Hasan Hanafi's point of view, just as Muslims in the era of translation translated texts from Greek, Syriac, and other languages into Arabic, and through this approach were able to gain new insights into science and knowledge, they will also have this ability in the present and future to appropriate Western thought when encountering it and revive their past position; while not ignoring the significant scientific influence that Muslims have had on the Western world.
” The major dimensions of Hasan Hanafi’s intellectual project can be outlined as follows: 1- Reconstructing Islamic sciences and criticizing heritage in light of the requirements of the modern era, in which this approach strongly criticizes Ash'arism and intellectual and political works with this character; 2- Western studies (Ilm al-Istighrab), which is actually his civilizational project, and in which the same relationship between subject and object exists in Orientalism, but only the place of the object and subject has changed; 3- Knowing reality or the theory of interpretation, in which Hanafi seeks to present a solid theory about reality without relying on the text.
