خلاصه ماشینی:
In this regard — which is limited — I have reached the conclusion that the major problem for Shiism in non-Shiite Islamic societies is the slanders attributed to it; meaning that most Sunnis perceive Shiism contrary to what it actually is; for example, we use the term Mehrgan, but the agitators slander us by claiming that the goal of Shiism is the worship of Mehr.
The points that Wahhabis are currently emphasizing more are as follows: First: Creating malice and suspicion towards Shiism in the hearts of Sunnis, by saying that Shiites consider those who are not themselves to be disbelievers (Kafir) and those whose blood is lawful to shed (Mahdur al-Dam), along with other lies and slanders.
Qaffari has written that Shiites use the soil of Karbala for healing and believe that healing comes from the soil itself, not from God: "اَنّ الشفاء من تراب القبر لا من رب الارباب"; whereas the narrations existing in this regard explicitly attribute healing to God; including a famous narration that says God gave several things to Imam Hussain(as) in exchange for his martyrdom; including: «جعل الشفاء فی تربته؛ خداوند شفاء را در تربتش قرار داد».
Ibn Taymiyyah, in his book Minhaj al-Sunnah alone, has leveled more than ten slanders against the Shiites in just the first few pages; for example, he says that the Shiites distorted the Quran, that Shiites do not observe the 'Iddah (waiting period) for women, that they do not set a dowry for women, that during prayer they intentionally deviate slightly from the Qibla, that they shake their shoulders during prayer, that Shiites are the most lying people, and that they believe there are fifty obligatory prayers.
