خلاصه ماشینی:
Fakhr al-Razi, in some of his works, especially those of his later period, weary of rational proofs and philosophical methods, speaks of Sufi and mystical knowledge, and sometimes reaches the conclusion that a human being must cast aside all rational arguments and perceive the truth with their entire being and heart.
5) Inclination toward the Quranic method and complete liberation from philosophical and theological discussions; in his later years, Razi became dissatisfied and regretful that he had spent his life solely on philosophy and Kalam, and by referring to the difficulty of the task of truth-seeking and expressing the helplessness and incapacity of human intellects, he clings to the way of the Quran.
On the other hand, it is still not clearly known whether al-Mabahith al-Mashriqiyya, which Zarkan considers a purely philosophical work belonging to the second stage of Razi's intellectual life, was written with the intention of proving the views of Peripatetic philosophers and specifically the views of Ibn Sina, or with the intention of transmitting and stating them.
Based on this, Razi in some cases has considered the outward meanings of the Quran and religious texts, and in some positions, knowledge and cognition, and in many instances, his own mystical and inward perceptions, as the cause of faith (heartfelt affirmation) or the acceptance of religious beliefs; with the difference that in the later period of his intellectual life, considering the limitations of reason and the inability of intellect in the work of God-knowledge, monotheism, and the difficulty of truth-seeking, Razi tends toward "rationalist fideism"72.
