Of course, perhaps it is not possible to provide a complete and accurate assessment of the extent of the impact of this convergence or non-convergence and the cohesion or cleavage of these two scientific and epistemological institutions on other social and political categories; however, it can be agreed that among the cleavage of various institutions of society (between which there is a type of interaction and connection), the cleavage of elites (whose prominent examples in our country are seminary scholars and academics) possesses greater importance and sensitivity; just as their cohesion will also have a greater social role and function. 2. Another point is that the discussion of unity and interaction, or convergence and cohesion of the university and the seminary, before being a duty for the elites and the concerned individuals of these two scientific and epistemological institutions, is a right for the entire society. In other words, in the arena of intellectual, cultural, and social discussions, there are various thoughts, conflicts, and competitions today; while presenting them at a specific level and with adherence to scientific and political ethics is necessary and natural, these very discussions and conflicts have nonetheless transformed the direction of presenting the subject of seminary-university unity. On this basis, today we are in need of a new perception of seminary-university unity that, on one hand, has the possibility of external realization and, on the other hand, can provide an appropriate response to the needs of the Islamic society in all cultural, social, political, economic, religious, scientific, etc.
