چکیده:
Among the important factors that accelerate the process of social transformations, create space for the fulfillment of individual and social rights, and consequently make the path to achieving social justice possible, are government accountability and the nation's questioning regarding their legitimate demands. Therefore, one of the key and influential topics affecting all sectors of the system, including political, cultural, economic, and social, is giving importance to the issue of accountability. Fundamentally, until accountability establishes itself as a culture in society and the social system, little hope can be placed in the fulfillment of individuals' rights in society. Also, as long as requesting answers and accountability is not considered an efficient task within the scope of individuals' responsibilities in society, individuals will seek to evade accountability by any means possible. This issue will certainly deprive society of dynamism, growth, and prosperity and, consequently, will make the path to realizing social justice uneven. This writing seeks to address the impact and connection of accountability with social justice by rooting the issue of accountability and its position in the Islamic system. The author believes that considering the goals that can be set for accountability, apart from the fact that accountability itself contributes to the fulfillment of part of the people's social rights, it also provides the space for the realization of social justice.
