The results of the present research demonstrate that metaphorical translation is the best translation for metaphorical expressions. Otherwise, one should resort to semantic translation and avoid literal translation as much as possible. In this regard, the translator's mastery and command over rhetoric as one of the prerequisite sciences of translation, and their familiarity with the culture of the source and target languages, is essential. Furthermore, through this essay, it becomes clear that matters such as emphasizing the greatness and power of God, expressing the wit and alertness of the audience, beautifying the word, observing politeness and avoiding ugly words, exaggeration, and brevity, are among the most important rhetorical secrets of the Quranic metaphorical expressions, and paying attention to them helps the translator in better understanding the meanings of Quranic metaphors.

The most important rhetorical secrets of the metaphorical expressions of the Quran are: Reference to the greatness of God's power: In verse 189 of Surah Al-A'raf: ﴿هُوَ الَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَ جَعَلَ مِنها زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيها فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّئهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلاً خَفِيفًا﴾ The intended meaning of "نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ" is Adam (AS), and the fact that Almighty God has expressed it with "one soul" is to refer to His great power and vast knowledge.
