چکیده:
The correct interpretation of the verses of the glorious Word of God has always been, throughout Islamic history until now, considered one of the necessities of the Islamic community. The requirement for correct interpretation is adherence to and mastery of the specific sciences and rules pertaining to it. The science of Qira'at (Quranic readings) is one of these sciences and a prerequisite for interpretation. Therefore, differences in readings can play a significant role in the interpretation of the Quran and the interpretive understandings of commentators. Since the Tafsir of Majma' al-Bayan is a rich source in explaining the differences in readings and the emergence of semantic differences from this area, this research attempts to determine the extent and manner of these influences on the interpretive understandings of Sheikh Tabarsi. Furthermore, the types of these understandings based on the existing differences in the variations of readings are examined to clarify the scope of attention and concern of this esteemed commentator in involving these differences, and finally, his chosen model in this regard will be explained and summarized.

As an example, Sheikh Tabarsi, in the interpretation of verse 25 of Surah An-Naml, has combined the different recitations present in the verse, where his criterion for combining them was the use of context and also 'Fahwa al-Khitab'; «وجدتها و قومها يسجدون للشمس من دون الله و زين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فصدهم عن السبيل فهم لا يهتدون * ألا يسجدوا لله الذي يخرج الخب ء في السماوات و الأرض و يعلم ما تخافون و ما تعلنون »; I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah, and Satan made their deeds seem pleasing to them, so he turned them away from the [right] path, and thus they would not be guided.
