چکیده:
Today, managers face challenges such as increasing complexity and dynamism in the nature of organizations and industries, unstructured problems, and environmental uncertainty. In such conditions, understanding, examining, and analyzing organizational issues and formulating appropriate strategies is considered a difficult task. Systemic methodologies such as operations research, complexity theory, cybernetics, and dynamics are not capable of resolving organizational issues on their own. They do not have the necessary effectiveness in facing the special conditions of modern organizations. Therefore, managers need new and creative approaches. They must go beyond prevailing paradigms to enable the utilization of the strengths of various methodologies to face such conditions. Multiple systemic methodology, in the form of a new paradigm [and influenced by the critical paradigm of social sciences], empowers managers and researchers in the field of organization and management to recognize the current and desired state and provide appropriate solutions. In this article, by introducing the philosophical foundations of such methodologies and their related difficulties, various patterns for creating a multiple systemic methodology and the principles governing them are presented.

Pluralistic Systems Methodology: A New Approach in Management Research Ali Naghi Mosleh Shirazi 1 Habibollah Ranaei 2 Mohammad Taghi Iman 3 Mehdi Tajik 4 Abstract: Today, managers face challenges such as increasing complexity and dynamism in the nature of organizations and industries, unstructured problems, and environmental uncertainty.
Researchers have identified certain characteristics for such problems, which can be mentioned as follows (Rosenhead and Mingers 3 , 2001): Presence of multiple actors; Multiple perspectives; Presence of conflicting interests; Presence of important and intangible variables; Presence of high uncertainty 4 In order to understand and examine issues with such a nature, the way was paved for the emergence of new systems methodologies in the early 1990s.
Mingers and Rosenhead (2004) present the multi-methodology systemic approach as a conscious effort to combine tools Brocklesby Kotiadis and methods from various types of hard and soft systemic approaches, with the aim of deep understanding of the problem and proper management of different project steps.
Mingers and Brooksby (1997) presented four discussions regarding trans-paradigmatic combinations, which are: The real world is complex and multidimensional, and different paradigms can illuminate specific dimensions of it; Investigating a problem consists of multiple steps, and therefore more than one methodology is required to examine it; Trans-paradigmatic multi-methodology is a common approach, even if there are few reports about them; Habermas's social theory has provided a suitable context for researchers to create multi-methodologies.
