Comprehensiveness: To the people of gnosis (ahl al-ma'rifah), the Perfect Human is the comprehensive encompassing of all Presences and levels of the universe and the essence of existence; a being that contains the realities of all creatures and holds the station of collective Oneness (the first determination).
Ibn Arabi says in the Chapter of Adam: "Because Truth Almighty, in terms of His countless Beautiful Names, willed to see the essences of the Names, rather, to see Himself in a 'Comprehensive Universe' that encompasses the entire affair, and to manifest His own Secret in it, He created Adam; because seeing one's own perfections in oneself—just as seeing oneself in another affair— the five Presences are respectively: the first and second determination (the first Presence); the intellectual world (the second Presence); the imaginal world (the third Presence); the material world (the fourth Presence); and the human (the fifth Presence).
The entire universe is a prelude to the existence of the human, who is a complete reality; because God was Hidden, He desired to be known, and this knowledge is only possible through the existence of His complete form and manifestation; thus, the ultimate goal of creation is realized through the existence of the Perfect Human.
In reality and by virtue of the requirements of his essence, the Perfect Human possesses the Divine Names and Attributes; like the Perfect Human, in relation to the Truth (God), is like a mirror.
