چکیده:
After the passing of the Prophet (PBUH), a group of Ansar gathered at Saqifah and discussed the leadership of the community and the appointment of the Prophet's successor. It seems that raising such discussions by the Ansar at those times was a reaction to certain actions of the Muhajirun. This is because they had discovered through various signs that a group of Muhajirun intended to seize power, and the Ansar intended to prevent this by gathering at Saqifah. However, what compelled the Ansar to take this ill-considered action was fear combined with competition with the Quraysh. Although the services of the Ansar in helping to establish Islam during the era of the Great Prophet (PBUH) can also be among the reasons for their attention to the government. Furthermore, by reviewing historical texts related to Saqifah, it must be said that many prominent supporters of Imam Ali (AS), such as Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari, were not present at Saqifah. The goal of this research is to investigate the various aspects of the reasons for the gathering of the Ansar at Saqifah and to analyze them, using primary historical texts and the analysis of new research conducted.

Given the fear of the Ansar due to the killing of the leaders of Quraysh in the wars of the Prophet (صلی الله علیه و آله), in this case, one must see how the Quraysh would have treated Imam Ali(as), who alone had killed half of the Quraysh casualties at Badr (The History of the Transformation of the State in Islam, p.
The absence of prominent Ansar supporters of Imam Ali (عليه السلام) in Saqifah Although the view of the Ansar towards Imam Ali (عليه السلام) was positive, and some primary historical sources have reported their inclination to pledge allegiance to the Imam after the passing of the Prophet (صلی الله علیه و آله) (Al-Saqifah wal-Fadak, p.
