چکیده:
The aim of the present study is to answer the question "How does the peace literature, as an emerging element, help reduce the level of unrest and increase the level of integration and peace?". It is assumed that peace literature, considering peace as a cycle and process, for its different type of narrative and reading and a range of audiences it includes, promotes functions such as belief in the possibility of change, empathy instead of tension and type, friendship instead of discrimination limits rioters (Islamophobia) and thus increases the level of peace. This descriptive-analytical study using cultural materialism (combined approach of Williams and Sinfield) has provided an analysis of the relationship between literature, peace, and the reflection of the category of unrest in the Islamic world and its consequences. This analysis chronologically belongs to the period after September 11. Reading two works of Khalid Hosseini (Badbadkabaz and Hezar Khorshid Taban) shows how the components of peace literature can be extracted from these two works. The Islamic world needs to re-read its legacy to break the existing unrealism. The imagery of literary works, for its wide audience and deep durability, has special functional capabilities in contrast to the chaotic components.

The Melody of Peace Literature in the Geopolitics of Chaos Date of Receipt: 2020/08/06 Date of Approval: 2020/12/04 Zohreh Ramin * Seyed Mohammad Marandi ** Fazeleh Khatami Nia *** The aim of the present research is to answer this question: "How does peace literature, as an emerging element, contribute to reducing the level of chaos and increasing the level of convergence and creating peace?" The hypothesis is that peace literature, by considering peace as a cycle and a process, due to its different type of narration and reading, and also the wide range of audiences it includes, limits chaos-inducing factors (such as Islamophobia) by promoting functions such as: belief in the possibility of change, empathy instead of tension, and friendliness instead of discrimination, and consequently increases the level of peace.
The innovation of this research lies in the fact that by rereading literary works and integrating peace studies and literature, it shows that some literary works have been able to challenge this dominant discourse and, through representation and realistic portrayal of the country's context where the war took place, reveal the true face of the Islamic culture and thoughts present in this country.
In the present research, an attempt is made to use the theory of cultural materialism to reread the challenging of the dominant discourse against Islam (Islamophobia) by peace literature (a case study of the works of Khaled Hosseini).
Challenging the dominant discourse provides a belief in the possibility of change; meaning that although peace literature speaks of and reflects the situation of war, ethnic conflicts, educational weakness, and the position of women in Afghan society, it does not validate these weaknesses and tensions as an unchangeable intrinsic component.
