چکیده:
Abu Amr Muhammad bin Umar bin Abd al-Aziz al-Kashi is one of the scholars of the first half of the fourth century AH, who was skilled in the fields of Hadith and Rijal. The exact year of his birth and death is not clear. Evidence suggests that he lived in the first half of the fourth century and his scientific growth and development took place in the land of Samarkand and Transoxiana. Sheikh Tusi and al-Najashi, who are the closest individuals to his era, have attributed the writing of a book on Rijal to him. Ibn Shahrashub, who lived a century after Sheikh Tusi, calls Kashi's book 'Ma'rifat al-Naqilin 'an al-A'imma al-Sadiqin', while others have named it 'Ma'rifat Akhbar al-Rijal' or 'Ma'rifat al-Rijal'. The original book of Kashi did not escape the raids of the events of the times, and what is available today and has become famous under the title 'Rijal Kashi' is actually the 'Ikhtiyarat' and 'Intikhabat' of Sheikh Tusi, which Sayyid bin Tawus explicitly stated was dictated to his students in the year 456. For various reasons, the book 'Ikhtiyar' has many content differences with the book 'Rijal Kashi'. In this article, we examine Tusi's book 'Ikhtiyar Ma'rifat al-Rijal' and present some aspects of its differences from the original book 'Rijal Kashi'.
