چکیده:
One of the dimensions of the Islamic Revolution is its international dimension. The Islamic Revolution was not limited to a specific geography and religion, but rather influenced Islamic and even non-Islamic countries. This influence had various levels, the most important and lasting of which is system-building. System-building is a type of structuring, institution-building, and operational systems in pursuit of achieving a goal. For system-building, two macro stages can be drawn: the mental-cognitive stage and the practical-objective stage. The Islamic Revolution underwent the foundations of system-building by providing a new definition of religion that viewed the political and social spheres similarly to the individual sphere of religiosity, and in the objective stage, it engaged in system-building and society management based on political Islam and the system of Velayat-e Faqih. The international effects of the Islamic Revolution in system-building can be traced in two parts: foundations and arenas. Accordingly, the Islamic Revolution revived the identity of Muslims by reviving Islam as a school of thought and gave them spirit and self-confidence. In the operational arena, it also strengthened Islamic movements and, by focusing on the idea of the Islamic Ummah, institutionalized anti-imperialism and democracy.

We examine the influence of the Islamic Revolution on system-building in the international arena based on the stages of system-building that were discussed in the theoretical framework: Mental - Cognitive The Islamic Revolution was designed based on a new vision and interpretation of Islam and achieved victory by moving religion from a passive role and exclusivity in the individual sphere to an active and dynamic role into the political-social arena.
The Sharia-oriented individuals mostly insisted on the necessity of aligning laws and social relations with Islamic Sharia; however, instead of striving to understand the essence of new civilization and providing practical mechanisms for implementing religion in the arena of society, they considered their duty to be the preservation of Sharia and the rejection of ideas and elements that they deemed incompatible with Sharia (instead of solving the problem, they dealt with cleaning the problem statement).
Iran, which before the revolution and during the second Pahlavi era had taken on a Westernized nature, with a spontaneous movement based on the divine teachings of / Islam and under the leadership of Imam Khomeini, was able to prove its religious and anti-Western colonial identity and realize the socio-political ideals of Islam.
