Leadership in Islamic society is responsible for the spiritual guidance of the people and the administration of the country, and it guides government institutions on the path of correct implementation of Islamic laws. For this reason, leadership in an Islamic government is the responsibility of the 'Vali-e Faqih', meaning someone who is an expert and an authority on Islamic matters. The Islamic Revolution of Iran has gone through important events in the past three decades and has passed through sensitive and decisive periods with pride. Undoubtedly, one of the important and determining factors in this path has been the role of leadership in guiding affairs and achieving the goals of the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Therefore, in this article, we will examine and analyze the position of the leadership of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader.
