چکیده:
According to Mulla Sadra, three general worlds exist: 1) The world of sensibles, which is the same as the world of the material realm. 2) The world of images (Alam al-Mithal), meaning the world of quantitative forms that is exactly like the world of sensibles, with the difference that it is free from matter. 3) The world of intelligibles, which is abstract from matter and material properties. On the other hand, humans possess three types of perception: 1) Sensory perception 2) Imaginative perception 3) Intellectual perception. Man is a reality whose existence, by virtue of each of his perceptive powers, takes place in one of the worlds of existence; thus, by perceiving sensibles, he is in the sensory world; during imaginative perception, he is in the world of images; and during the perception of universals and intelligibles, he is situated in the world of intellects. In this article, each of the levels of perception is compared with the levels of existence, and it has been concluded that, from Mulla Sadra's perspective, the levels of perception within man correspond to the external levels of existence.
