چکیده:
A common topic in religious sources is the recognition and application of beauty in life. The desire for beauty and the intellect’s order for beautifying oneself and one’s life are intrinsic. The Holy Qur'an also acquaints people with beauties and guides them to create them in their lives. The Holy Qur'an teaches man the levels of beauty, which include tangible, intangible, sensible, and ultimately absolute beauty- which is specific to God's beauty- and asks him to use rational and spiritual beauties to achieve the desired perfection, based on his natural tendency to beauty. On the other hand, there is a need for being deeply aware of the correct lifestyle, since one’s lifestyle has lots of effects on him and because he must correct it to achieve perfection and happiness. The study of (Islamic) religious texts teaches us that only through learning about and employing reasonable beauties one can improve one’s spiritual lifestyle in various dimensions, especially in establishing proper communication between different people in the society and also especially in cultivating the spirit of self-sacrifice. The lifestyle based on moral beauty, which is described in the Holy Qur'an as "Hayat tayeba”(i.e. a pure and beautiful life), is reserved for those who believe in God and do righteous deeds.
خلاصه ماشینی:
The Holy Quran also introduces humans to beauties and guides them to realize them in their lives, teaching humans beauty which includes levels: sensory, non-sensory, intelligible, and its final stage, meaning absolute beauty, which is specific to Divine splendor, and asks them to benefit from the desired perfection by attaining intelligible and spiritual beauties based on their beauty-seeking nature.
In the Holy Quran, regardless of the differences that exist between synonymous words, which some subtle thinkers in the field of lexicography, such as Abu Hilal al-Askari in the book 'Al-Furuq fi al-Lughah,' have paid attention to, we observe words that lead directly or indirectly to aesthetic concepts; therefore, in this section, some of those words and their Quranic applications are mentioned: Divine speech for describing beauty in: material and spiritual subjects, behaviors, discourses, and heart qualities, is 'hasan' (Mustafavi, 1374: Vol. 2, 321-323); for actions and phenomena, 'jamal' (Ibn Manzur, 1414: Vol. 11, 126); for the world, clothing, wealth, women, and faith, 'zinat' (Fayruzabadi, 1416: Vol. 3, 156-160); for worldly and otherworldly adornments, 'hilyah'; for salvations, 'bahjat'; for the greenery of the earth, deceptive speech, and decorated houses, 'zukhruf' is used in the sense of glittering adornment (Raghib Isfahani, 1375: 212).
Given the divine verses, based on the divine nature in the existence of humans, the recognition and application of beauties, especially spiritual beauties, plays an important role in reforming lifestyle and creating peace in worldly life and achieving eternal happiness plays a role.
