چکیده:
One of the important trends in historical discussions, which many historical benefits and results are deeply dependent upon, is the social history of societies and civilizations, under which the strengths and weaknesses of each society or civilization can be identified. Among these, cemeteries and family and public shrines are among the most important sources in analyzing social history, yet they have received less attention. Although the cemetery of Mulla Mohsen Feyz Kashani (may God have mercy on him) does not have a history extending beyond the year 1091 AH, due to its social, cultural, and geographical importance in the city of Kashan, it can be considered one of the important sources in analyzing the social history of Kashan between the 11th and 15th centuries AH; therefore, in this research, an attempt has been made to present, in brief, findings related to the social history of Kashan and how they were extracted, relying on field research.

Although the cemetery of Mulla Mohsen Feyz Kashani (may Allah have mercy on him) does not have a history beyond the year 1091 AH, it can be considered one of the important sources in analyzing the social history of Kashan between the 11th and 15th centuries AH, due to its social, cultural, and geographical importance in the city of Kashan; therefore, in this research, an attempt has been made to present, in brief, findings related to the social history of Kashan and how they were extracted, based on field research.
This research, relying on field findings from one of the public cemeteries of Kashan called Feyz Cemetery, briefly addresses some of the components of the social history of this city from the 11th century to the present, although due to the lack of use of inscriptions and the destruction of the graves of the deceased from past centuries, most of the field findings of this research pertain to the last century.
The prevalence of using poetry in the sentences inscribed on tombstones and tomb inscriptions is among the other evidences of the prosperity of sciences such as literature and poetry in certain periods of Kashan's scientific history; so much so that the use of poetry in introducing the owner of the grave, their biography, and even information such as the cause of death on tombstones is considered among the other characteristics of the Feyz cemetery, and the analysis of style, themes, and information provided in these poems is one of the important sources in analyzing the social history of Kashan.
