Observing the text in which Muhaqqiq included this phrase is another clue that he has mistaken this phrase for the narration transmitted through the 'Ammah (Sunnis), which is "من ادرک رکعة من الصلاة فقد ادرک الصلاة"; because he was attempting to argue against the opinion of Sheikh Tusi in al-Mabsut31, who held that anyone who catches one rak'ah or more of the prayer at the end of the time, their entire prayer will be considered a valid 'ada (performed) prayer and qada (makeup) is not obligatory upon them, contrary to the opinion of some companions.
