چکیده:
In this article, the possibilities of the relationship between empirical sciences and religion (with an emphasis on the field of the Quran) are addressed. First, the overlap of science and religion is raised, and then the real and apparent conflict between science and religion is discussed. Real conflict is considered impossible based on certain reasons, while apparent conflict is accepted but deemed solvable. A solution for resolving apparent conflicts has been proposed, which suggests interpreting the literal meaning of verses when they conflict with certain science, and investigating errors in the premises of scientific understanding and interpretive understanding when texts conflict with certain science. This has been presented with evidence that has been deemed invalid, and through Quranic evidence and reasoning, a relationship of compatibility and interaction between science and religion has been accepted. In this article, recent views of Dr. Soroush regarding the impasse of the conflict between the Quran and science are mentioned and, in light of the above points, are subject to criticism.

The Relationship between the Quran and Science and a Solution for Resolving Their Apparent Conflicts Dr. Mohammad Ali Rezaei Isfahani, Faculty Member of Al-Mustafa International University صلّی اللّه علیه و اله العالمیه Abstract In this article, the possibilities of the relationship between empirical sciences and religion (with an emphasis on the domain of the Quran) are addressed.
2- Apparent conflict between science and religion This type of conflict means that the essence of science and religion does not have a real and true conflict, but sometimes religious appearances seem to conflict with scientific theories; because some scientists of empirical sciences consider unproven scientific theories to be definitive, and when they observe, for example, that a scientific theory is incompatible with the verses of the Quran, they think that science and religion are in conflict.
Therefore, reason commands us to prefer a definitive proof (the apparent meaning of the Quran) over a speculative proof (a scientific law), and historical experience has also proven that this is the correct way; because in many cases, scientific theories that ruled the world of science and the thoughts of scientists for centuries have been invalidated with the emergence of new tools and new discoveries.
1. In many cases, Islam has paid attention to science and scientists and has encouraged them, and there are even many verses in the Quran that express scientific matters, and the more empirical sciences progress, the more the truths of those matters are discovered.
